It came in through the bathroom window: Snake found in share house toilet
International students got true blue Aussie wildlife experience when they found a carpet python curled up inside their toilet on the weekend.
Snake catcher Janne Torkkola was called to a share house at Dutton Park to wrangle the non-venomous snake out of the bowl.
“It was one of their first snake experiences, and it is usually a bit more confronting finding a snake like that rather than, in what we would consider, their natural environment,” he said.
Mr Torkkola said it was “not particularly difficult” to remove the python as most of its body was exposed.
